Update 05/02/2016 14:53: All 500 shirts have sold out.  More will be available soon so keep an eye on Parkrun’s facebook page.

Seems like I can’t get away from running clothes today (even though I’m meant to be reviewing medal frames).  Just as I finish typing about the new DP Active range I found earlier my facebook feed informs me that parkrun have just launched their new range of clothing and and and and and you can customise it to include the name of your local parkrun.  It’s a pretty genius idea.  The first run is limited to 500 and they’ll go fast.

The t-shirts are available in both men and women’s fit.  Men’s are sized XS to XL (Both XXL and XXXL are greyed out so they could be available in future) whilst women’s are XS to XXL.  They’re £25 each plus an extra £2.50 to customise with your parkrun name.  All profits go to fund parkrun so it’s kinda like making a donation and getting a pretty top in the process.

I really love the back design with the parkrun imagery and having your country flag on your sleeve is quite a nice touch for touring parkruns abroad.  I don’t generally run parkruns in a t-shirt (I get too hot) which is why I was really please when I saw these ‘coming soons’ at the bottom of the page.  I seriously need a parkrun vest so i’ll be keeping watching for them to be released.  I quite like the idea of a long sleeved top too.

The t-shirts are made and sold by Tribesports (The same people who now do the milestone t-shirts) and you can find them here http://tribesports.com/collections/parkrun-performance-range.
